NATURE IS A RESOURCE ENTRUSTED TO US.

Global warming, Overpopulation, Acid rain, the Destruction of the Rain Forest, Hybridization and the endless consequences that we are experiencing, are part of the corruption processes that the earth is suffering from the hand of the ones in pursue for their own gain and lust.
The earth's resources do not exist just purely for people's pleasure, or to be used as they will, with little thought for long-term consequences.
The description of the apostle John of the end of times describes a lot of destruction from the hand of men devoted to the world's pleasure. But not all is to be consumed. A powerful entity fallen from heaven to the bottomless pit, to whom was given the key to unleash all the demonic powers from there to the earth, darkening the sun and the air,  joining forces with the scorpions of the earth, was given a command "not to harm the (spiritual) grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
The command is an echo of Genesis 1: 29 - 30: "every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed." God is the owner of the resources of the earth.
He states in Revelation 7 : 2 -3 : "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees." Likewise, the new heaven and earth include a pure (spiritual) River of Water of Life, clear as crystal, the Tree of Life.
When God created the World's Resources, He declared them to be "very good." He designed people to care for them, develop them, and use them for good. This management role is part of our calling as caregivers of the earth. He has made us to be more than mere consumers. Our work is a gift from God to develop and deliver the spiritual benefits of any kind of resources, treating it with respect not with lust, because it is a resource for which God has given you responsibility.
In the world in which live today we are witnessing the lack of respect towards Nature and the refusal of many men to listen to the Laws of their Maker, following instead their own way, and creating their destruction.
