The god Knemu who was said to create each man out of clay on his potter's wheel also molded the Ka at the same time. His name comes from the root force of the term "Khnem" meaning "To Built."
Knemu was the building powerful force, which built the first symbolic egg from which the sun sprang.
The same force also made possible the existence of other forces that the Egyptians deified them as gods, and sculpted the first man on a potter's wheel and he continue to build up their bodies and maintain their life. He built up (architect) the material universe with Ptah, thinking (mind) and saying (words) their names with the tongue, under the guidance and direction of Thoth (Wisdom). They were unique because their methods were intellectual rather than physical. According to the priests of Memphis, where Ptah was their god, they said that everything was the work of Ptah's heart and tongue: gods were born, town were founded, and order was maintained. Ptah was the patron of skilled craftsmen and architects, while Thoth was the patron of philosophy and wisdom.
Knemu, as the architec, had 7 forms: -The creator (Knemu-Nehep). -The governor of 2 lands (Knemu-Kenti-Taui). -The weaver of his light (Knemu-Sekhet-Ashsep-f). -The governor of the house of life (Knemu-Kenti-Per-Ankh). Lord of the land of life (Knemu-Neb-Ta-Ankhtet). The governor of the house of sweet life (Knemu-Kenti-Netchemtchem-Ankhet. -Lord (Knemu-Neb).
Knemu was one of the oldest gods of Egypt, and the views of him changed somewhat through its history. He was worshiped from Thebes to Philae, but the principal sanctuaries were at the First Cataract (Elephantine and Philae).
Knemu was originally a water-god, and as such he is shown with water flowing over his outstretched hands and wearing a jug on his head above his horns. His symbol was the flat-horned Ram and was depicted as a Ram-headed man who wears the White Crown on his head.
He always was an important force and it remained as that even in some semi-Christian groups 2 to 3 centuries after the birth of Christ Jesus!
Ka in appearance was portrayed by the Egyptians in several ways: -A person identical to the person whom it was associated with. -As a shadowy figure. -As a person with two upraised arms on his head.
Ka in meaning had a very complex symbolism and represent: -the reception of the life power received from supernatural beings. -The representation itself of the life power. The spiritual double that resides with every human being.
The Egyptian hieroglyphic representation for "Ka" was the shoulders and arms with the arms bent upwards at the elbow.
Ka as a spiritual double was born with every human being and lived on as long as it had a place to live, regardless the life of the corporeal vessel. While the individual was alive Ka lived within the body as an acting life force in the physical body. Then after the person died, Ka still needed to be connected to the corporeal vessel in order to complete its journey in the afterlife and enter into the eternal existence as long as it passed the judgment of Maat. New bodies were assigned and new levels of existence were achieved. This is why the Egyptians mummified their dead. If the body decomposed before achieving the final destination, then the spiritual double would die and the deceased would lose their chance for eternal life, being trapped in a cavern in the Underworld waiting for a chance to come back and be assigned to a new vessel, without the knowledge of its previous life.
An Egyptian euphemism for death was "going to one's Ka." After death Ka became supreme. Kings thus claimed to have multiple "Kas". Rameses II announced that he had over 20.
When Ka acted according to the universal law and order, all was well, both spiritually and materially. Sin was called "an abomination of the Ka." The Ka was seen as the natural instinct or conscience of each individual, urging kindness, quietude, honor and compassion. In images and statues of the Ka, these qualities are depicted as their owner in an idealized and desirable state of youth, strength, and beauty, seeing Ka as the origin and giver of life to all.
Ka resided in the gods as well. Egyptians often placated the "Kas" of the deities in order to receive favors. The divine "Kas" also served as guardians. Osiris was often called the Ka of the Pyramids.

THE AFTERLIFE ACCORDING TO EGYPT
The Afterlife played an important role in Ancient Egyptian religion. For them the soul of a human resided in the heart.
Upon death, people's souls went to the realm of the Dead, for judgment. Each human heart had to be weighed on a giant scale against a feather, representing the concept of Ma'at.
Maat was the Egyptian concept of Truth, Balance, Order, Harmony, Law, Morality, and Justice in relation with the universal forces controlling the existence of the Universe. This concept or force of energy was personified as a goddess regulating the stars, seasons, and the actions of both mortals and deities. She was understood as the powerful force that set the order of the universe from chaos at the moment of creation. Maat was the norm for nature and society in the World of the living and the next. Most goddesses were paired with a male force or aspect, in the understanding that each of them was built as complementary forces and also paradoxical(dualism). One could not exist without its counterpart. Isfet and Maat balanced each other.
Her ideological counterpart of the term Maat was Isfet (Chaos), representing the force of mind built on religious, social and political terms. The corruption of it formed Chaos acting force. The Pharaoh was appointed to achieve Maat role, which meant to keep and protect justice, and harmony by destroying Isfet, in the sense of a corrupting force acting in the mind altering the sense of law and order. The principles of the contrariness between Isfet and Maat are exemplified in a popular tale called "the moaning of the Bedouin": 'Those who destroy the Lie promote Maat; those who promote the good will erase the evil. As fullness casts out appetite, as clothes cover the nude and as heaven clears up after a storm'. In the eyes of the Egyptians Maat was the controlling force acting in the mind able to tame the power of Chaos through the application of universal rules in order to coexist. A world without the wisdom and knowledge of GOD, the real Maker with the power to destroy evil. A world full of illusions, replacing GOD by a mere illusion of peace.
Her masculine counterpart was Thoth. He played many vital and prominent roles, such as maintaining the forces of the universe in balance, and being one of the 2 deities, the other being Maat, who stood on either side of Ra's boat. He became heavily associated with the arbitration of supernatural disputes, the mystical arts, the system of writing, the development of science, and the judgment of the dead. He was depicted in many ways depending on the era and on the aspect the artist wished to convey. Usually, he is depicted in his human form with the head of an ibis. In this form, he can be represented as the reckoner of times and seasons by a headdress of the lunar disk sitting on top of a crescent moon resting on his head. He served as a mediating power between good and evil, making sure neither had a decisive victory over the other. He also served as scribe of the gods. In the Underworld, Duat, he appeared as Aani, the dog-headed ape, the god of equilibrium, who reported when the scales weighing the deceased's heart against the feather, representing Maat's principle, was exactly even. He was known as One, self-begotten, and self-produced, master of both physical and moral divine law, making proper use of Maat's principle. He was the one credited with making the calculations for the establishment of the heavens, stars, earth, and everything in them, and Maat was the force which make the universe a save place to live. He is said to direct the motions of the heavenly bodies. Without the declaration of his mystical words, the gods would not exist. His power was unlimited in the Underworld and rivaled that of Ra and Osiris.
Duat the realm of the deity Osiris and the residence of other gods and supernatural beings, also was the region through which the sun god Ra traveled from West to East during the night, and where he battled Apep, the embodiment of Chaos. It was also the place where the people's souls went after dead for judgment, though that was not the full extent of the afterlife.
The ancient Book of Gates was a funerary text that referred to the different types of human race known to them, dividing them up into 4 categories: Reth (Egyptians), Aamu (Asiatics), Themehu (Libyans), and Nehesu (Nubians). These were depicted in procession entering the next world. The goddesses listed had different titles, and wore different colored clothes, but identical in all other respects, wearing a 5 pointed star above their heads. Most of the goddesses were specific to the book, and do not appear elsewhere. The goddess determined the star and the time at night that the soul started its journey.
The soul was required to pass through a series of gates at different stages in the journey, corresponding to the journey of the sun through the underworld during the night hours. Each gate was associated with the different goddess, and required that the deceased recognized the particular character of the deity. The text implied that some people passed through unharmed, but that others suffered torment in a lake of fire.
The Book of Caverns first of all describes the journey of the sun god Ra from the Western horizon to the Eastern horizon through the 6 caverns of the Underworld, focusing on the interaction between the sun god and the creatures that he meets in charge of the inhabitants of it, including rewards for the righteous and punishments for the enemies of the Worldly Order, those who fail their judgment against the feather. Important landmarks on this journey are: -The Cavern of the Justified Deceased. -The Cavern of Osiris's corpse and the sun god's own 2 divine bodies. -The Exit of the Underworld for the sun rise. The book is one of the best sources of information about the concept of hell. During this journey, the sun god passes over the Cavern of Hell, in which the enemies of the World Order (enemies of the sun god and Osiris) are being destroyed. The book also give hints on the topographical structure of the Underworld. The first known almost complete version of the book was located in the Osireion by excavating the site in 1902 through 1903. It was found directly across from the Book of Gates within the entrance passage on the left wall. The Osireion is an ancient temple located in Abydos, to the rear of the temple of Seti I. It is an integral part of Seti's funeral complex. It was originally built at a considerable lower level than the foundations of the temple of Seti.
The ancient Book of the Dead consisted of a number of texts intended to assist a dead person's journey through the Duat, or Underworld, and into the afterlife, and written by many trained priests over a period of 1000 years. It was most written in hieroglyphic script on a papyrus scroll, and often illustrated a plot, with a short impressionistic scene that focused on one moment or character giving a trenchant impression about the character's specific traits, and a detailed scene of the world, . It was more than evoking meaning through imagery in a short descriptive passage.
The surviving papyri contain a varying selection of rituals and texts that vary considerably in their illustration, that give the impression that priests had their own copies of the Book of Dead.

SCRIPTURAL VERSES ABOUT DESTINY.
JEREMIAH 29 "I wrote a Letter to the priests, the prophets, the leaders of the people, and to all the others whom Nebuchadnezzar had taken away as prisoners from Jerusalem to Babylonia. I wrote the Letter after King Jehoiachim, his mother, the palace officials, the leaders of Judah and of Jerusalem, the engravers, and the skilled workers had been taken into exile. I gave the Letter to El-Asah son of Shaphan and to Gemariah son of Hilkiah, whom King Zedekiah of Judah was sending to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia."(1-3)
"The LORD Almighty, the GOD of Israel, says to all those people whom HE ALLOWED Nebuchadnezzar to TAKE AWAY AS PRISONERS from Jerusalem to Babylonia: 'Build Houses and settle down. Plant Gardens and eat what you grow in them. Marry and have children. Then let your children get married, so that they also may have children. You must increase in numbers and not decrease. Work for the good of the cities where I have made you go as PRISONERS. PRAY TO ME on their behalf, because if they are prosperous, you will be prosperous too'."(4-7)
"I, the LORD, the GOD of Israel, WARN you not to let yourselves be deceived by the Prophets who live among you or by any others who claim they can predict the future. Do not pay ant attention to their dreams. They are telling you lies IN MY NAME. I did not send them." (8-9)
"The LORD says, 'WHEN Babylonia's 70 years are over, I will SHOW MY CONCERN for you and KEEP MY PROMISE to BRING you back home. I ALONE KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE for you,
PLANS TO BRING you PROSPERITY and NOT DISASTER, plans TO BRING ABOUT THE FUTURE YOU HOPE FOR."(10-11)
HABAKKUK 2 "I will climb my Watchtower and wait to see what the LORD WILL TELL me to say and what ANSWER HE WILL GIVE to my complaint." (2:1)
The LORD gave me this answer, "WRITE down CLEARLY ON TABLETS WHAT I REVEAL to you, so that IT CAN BE READ AT A GLANCE. Put it in writing FOR IT IS NOT YET TIME FOR IT TO COME TRUE. But the TIME IS COMING QUICKLY, and WHAT I SHOW you WILL COME TRUE. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; IT WILL CERTAINLY TAKE PLACE, and IT WILL NOT BE DELAYED." (2:2-3)
And this is the message: "THOSE WHO ARE EVIL WILL NOT SURVIVE, but THOSE WHO ARE RIGHTEOUS WILL LIVE because THEY ARE FAITHFUL TO GOD." (2:4)
WEALTH is deceitful. Greedy people are proud and restless -like Death itself they are never satisfy. That is why they conquer nation after nation for themselves.
The conquered people will taunt their conquerors and show their scorn for them.
They will say, "You take what is not yours, but YOU ARE DOOMED! How long will you go on getting rich by forcing your debtors to pay up? But before you know it, you that have conquered others will be in debt yourselves and be forced to pay interest. Enemies will come and make you tremble. They will plunder you! You have plundered the people of many nations, but now those who have survived will plunder you because of the murders you have committed and because of your violence against the people of the world and its cities."
"YOU ARE DOOMED! You have made your family rich with what you took by violence, and have to make your own home safe from harm and danger! But your schemes have brought shame on your family, by destroying many nations you have only brought ruin on yourself. Even the stones of the walls cry out against you, and the rafters echo the cry."
"YOU ARE DOOMED! You founded a city on crime and built it up by murder. The nations you conquered wore themselves out in useless labor, and all they have built goes up in flames. The LORD Almighty has done this. But the earth will be as full of knowledge of the LORD'S GORY as the seas are full of water."
"YOU ARE DOOMED! In your fury you humiliated and disgraced your neighbors; you made them stagger as though they were drank. You in turn will be covered by shame instead of honor. You yourself will drink and stagger. The LORD will make you drink YOUR OWN CUP OF PUNISHMENT, and your honor will be turned in disgrace." (2: 5-16)

FATE AND DESTINY.
The definition of fate is that you can change it through perseverance and hard work whereas destiny is predetermined; therefore, it cannot be altered.
The past, present and future are all happening simultaneously or at the same time. From our perspective, the past is something that has already happened. The present is something that is happening. Like the past, the future is something that has already happened too. However, the future has infinite posibilities, which is why fate is not predetermined. Remember, the past, present and future are all happening at the same time. For you to understand how reality and fate work, you need to understand that the true nature of Time is simultaneous. The reason why we experience time in a linear fashion is due to the fact that we have not learned enough to the point where we can experience Time in a simultaneous state.
Scientific studies have concluded that when you travel very fast, you age slower. As you approach near the speed of light, the slower you age. This proves that Time is not constant.
Have you ever had a dramatic experience, such a car accident, where time slowed down and you are able to see your life flash before your eyes? Time slows down because your senses become hyper-sensitive during a dramatic experience, which allows you to process information faster than normal, causing Time to slow down.
Time behaves more like an illusion. It can speed up or slow down. Time is not linear. Matter also behaves like an illusion. That is why Time and Matter are considered born from the same nature.
The three forces of Creation: Love, Thought, and Consciousness that reside inside us are proof that the rest is a mere illusion.
Love is not just a feeling. At a deeper levels, love is a harmonic conscious energy that attracts everything into oneness. It is a form of energy that is always vibrating toward balance and harmony.
Love is the powerful energy that holds the Cosmos together and is the fundamental thing that motivates Creation to creates things.
Thought is a force that has the potential of thinking within and upon itself, giving the ability of free will. It is needed to focus everything into existence. Most of us do not realize that when we use our thoughts, we are really preparing and projecting energy to be manifested into matter. We are creating our reality.
Thought is a subtle conscious energy that is more powerful than even the strongest nuclear weapon. Nuclear weapons are created by the use of subtle energy within the atoms. This atomic energy is very small and subtle but has the potential to destroy a planet. This is how powerful subtle energy is and thought is the building block of this energy. The fundamental definition of intelligence is nothing more than thought thinking within itself and observing itself.
In order for energy to manifest into matter, there must first exist thought to draw energy into focus. Thought alone does not effectively bring forth true manifestation. Thought needs certain energy forces to help transform it into expressions. One of this energy forces is emotion. Having strong emotional desires along with focused thought is the key to manifesting the desires at the energy level. This process draws in energy, and as the energy coagulates, manifestation begins. To truly use the power of thought, we have to understand first who truly you are. In Truth, you are a spiritual being embraced in a physical body. The essence of who you are is your soul, which has infinite potential. One of the simplest definitions of the human soul is a projection of thought. Each of us is a thought that thinks; therefore, our souls are conscious and self-aware. It is the most powerful manifestation force that we have and we have to use it wisely.
Consciousness is a creative energy force that exists in all things. In essence, it is an informational field of awareness and feedback that gives a sense of self. This field is conscious in itself and is made of subtle energy. It is a field of pure potentiality; thus, it has infinite possibilities and creativity. Through the power of consciousness, vibration and frequency is achieved. It uses both to create light to what is being expressed through consciousness. Your body and soul depend on vibration and frequency to function. Two of the most important things to know about consciousness are that it has infinite potential and it is found in everything, even in the 4 elements.
If you want to be happy in life, take responsibility and be in charge of your life so that you can take control of your fate. The Creator gave to all of us the precious power of free will. We have to use it wisely so that we can choose how to live our lives before our last breath.

MEDITATION AS A POWERFUL TOOL.
To reach the full potential as a Loyal Soldier of Christ Jesus, it begins by training the mind. One way to accomplish this task is through meditation, because it brings a sense of calm and centered feelings that is especially crucial in chaotic situations. Awareness, calmness, and focus will increase. Having the right state of mind in the face of adversity is a powerful tool.
They are all very important factors in the role as a Loyal Soldier of Christ. Without awareness, you will not be able to fight in a battle without getting hit or even kill. Without focus, you will not be able to catch the right opportunity to strike or defend, which could be disastrous. Without calmness, you will not be able to focus or relax. If you tense up out of fear, you will burn out quickly. You must learn how to govern your spiritual eagerness so it will not disperse unused in that way you will have more of it when it is really necessary.
2 Timothy 2 says, "Be strong through the grace that is ours in union with Christ Jesus. Take the teachings that you heard me proclaim in the presence of many witnesses, and entrust them to 'reliable people', who will be able to teach others also. Take your part in suffering,as a loyal soldier of Christ Jesus. A soldier on active duty wants to please his commanding officer and so does not get mixed up in the affairs of civilian life. An athlete who runs in a race cannot win the prize unless he obeys the rules. The farmer who has done the hard work should have the first share of the harvest. Think about what I am saying, because the LORD will enable you to understand it all."(1-7)
"Remind your people of this, and give them a solemn warning in GOD's PRESENCE not to fight over words. It does not good, but only ruins the people who listen. Do your best to win full approval in GOD's SIGHT, as a worker who is not ashamed of his work, one who correctly teaches the MESSAGE of GOD's TRUTH. Keep away from profane and foolish discussions, which only drive people further away from GOD. Such teaching is like an open sore that eats away the flesh."(14-16)
"In a large house there are dishes and bowls of all kinds: some are made of silver and gold, others of wood and clay; some are for special occasions, others for ordinary use. Those who make themselves clean from all those evil things, will be used for special purposes, because they are dedicated and useful to their Master, ready to be used for every good deed." (20-21)
"As the LORD's servant, you must not quarrel. You must be kind toward all, a good and patient teacher, who is gentle as you correct your opponents, for it may be that GOD will give them the opportunity to repent and com to know the Truth. And then they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the Devil, who had caught them and made them obey his will." (24-26)
Numerous verses in the Scripture refer to the importance of meditating on the WORD OF GOD and GOD's CHARACTER, to help us to be diligent in doing what is right.
Psalm 119 says, "How I love YOUR LAW! I think about it all day long. YOUR COMMANDMENT is with me all the time and makes me wiser than my enemies. I understand more than all my teachers, because I meditate on YOUR INSTRUCTIONS. I have greater wisdom than those who are old, because I OBEY YOUR COMMANDS. I have avoided all evil conduct because I want to obey YOUR WORD. I have not neglected Your Instructions, because YOU Yourself are MY TEACHER. How sweet is the taste of Your Instruction -sweeter even than honey! I gain wisdom from YOUR LAWS, and so I hate all bad conduct." (97-104)

ATTAIN UNDERSTANDING OF ETERNAL JUDGMENT.
Being without a firm foundation in the truth of eternal judgment and punishment prevents us from building a proper healthy life in Christ. It would be compared to attempting to advance your education without basic tools acquired in elementary school, such as the ability to read.
In careful study of the Gospels you will notice that Jesus spoke of hell and described it more than he did about heaven. He did this to plant a foundation within us: FEAR GOD.
LUKE 12: -YOU CAN'T HIDE BEHIND A RELIGIOUS MASK. A Warning Against Hypocrisy.
By this time the crowd, unwieldy and stepping on each other's toes, numbered into the thousands. But Jesus' primary concern was his disciples. He said to them, "Watch yourselves carefully so you do not get contaminated with Pharisee yeast -I mean their hypocrisy. Whatever is covered up will be uncovered, and every secret will be made known. So then, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in broad daylight, and whatever you have whispered in private in a closed room will be shouted from the housetops."
-WHOM TO FEAR. I tell you, my friends, "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot afterward do anything worse. I will show you whom to fear: FEAR GOD; who after killing, HAS the AUTHORITY to throw in hell. Believe Me, HE is the ONE YOU MUST FEAR!"
-CONFESSING AND REJECTING. "I assure you that those who DECLARE publicly that THEY BELONG TO ME, the Son of Man will do the same for them before the angels of GOD. But those who REJECT ME publicly, the Son of Man will also reject them before the angels of GOD.
Whoever says a word against the Son of Man can be forgiven; but whoever says evil things against the HOLY SPIRIT will not be forgiven. When they bring you to be tried in the synagogues or before governors or rulers, do not be worried about how you will defend yourself or what you will say. For the HOLY SPIRIT will TEACH you AT THAT TIME what you should say."
LUKE 21: -THE NEED TO WATCH. "Be careful not to let yourselves become occupied with too much feasting and drinking and with the worries of this life, or that Day may suddenly catch you like a trap. For it will come upon all people everywhere on earth. Be on watch and pray always that you will have the strength to go safely through all those things that will happen and to stand before the Son of Man."
2 CORINTHIANS 4 : SPIRITUAL TREASURE IN CLAY POTS.
GOD in His mercy has given us this work to do, and so we do not become discouraged. We put aside all secret and shameful deeds, we do not act with deceit, nor do we falsify the WORD of GOD.
In the full light of Truth we live in GOD's SIGHT and try to commend ourselves to everyone's good conscience. For if the gospel we preach is hidden, it is hidden only from those who are being lost.
They do not believe, because their minds have been kept in the dark by the evil god of this World.
He keeps them from seeing the light shining on them, the light that comes from the Good News about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of GOD. .. The GOD who said, "Out of Darkness the Light shall shine! is the same GOD who made HIS LIGHT SHINE in our hearts, to BRING us the KNOWLEDGE of GOD's GLORY shining IN THE FACE OF CHRIST."
2 CORINTHIANS 6 : WARNING. "Do not try to work together as equals with unbelievers, for it cannot be done. How can right and wrong be partners? How can Light and Darkness live together? How can Christ and the Devil agree? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? How can God's temple come to terms with pagan idols? For WE ARE the TEMPLE OF the living GOD! As GOD Himself has said, 'I will make My Home with My People and live among them'
And so the LORD says, "You must leave them and separate them and separate yourself from them. Have nothing to do with what is unclean, and I will accept you. I will be Your Father, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.'"

THE UPPER ROOM.
The Upper Room is a place were people usually went to congregate and unified themselves in Spirit to enter in deep meditation and give thanks to GOD in deep praying and elevate petitions to GOD. It was known to them as a place of meeting.
The deep, concentrated thinking in which one can seriously reflect on past experiences, ponders and muses over current matters, and thoughtfully contemplates possible future events, was the deep nature of the events that happened in that place of meeting, the Upper Room, day by day with people who sincerely chose to follow the WORD OF GOD with their lives.
By engaging in this profitable meditation, one will not be inclined to give foolish answers, merely out of his head. His heart will work on this matters of importance and the answers given will be from the heart of the Spirit, and will not be something to regret later on. (Prov. 15:28).
When Joshua was appointed as the overseer of the nation of Israel he was instructed to make a copy of GOD"S LAW, and was told to "MEDITATE" thereon DAY and NIGHT (Joshua 1:8). "YOU MUST in an undertone READ IN IT" (Psalm 1:2).
In order to meditate properly, one needs to feel free of any ties linked to the World of Flesh, along with his thoughts. Isaac, for example, went out walking alone in the early evening to meditate. (Gen. 24:63). Another example is found in the Book of Psalms. It was during the solitude of the night watches that the psalmist meditated on the greatness of his grand Creator (63:6).
The apostle Paul told Timothy that he should ponder over or "be meditating" on his conduct, ministry, and teaching. As an overseer, Timothy had to be unusually careful that he taught "sound doctrine" and that his way of life was exemplary.
After the apostles Peter and John had been arrested by the "captain of the Temple" and the Jewish rulers had threatened and charged them not to teach further on the basis of JESUS' NAME, the apostles returned to the other disciples. These prayed earnestly to GOD, referring to David's prophetic words, saying :"Why did the nations become tumultuous and people meditate upon empty things?" (Acts 4).
The empty things here spoken are the ones devoid of all good. King David said of those who hated him and sought his death: "Deceptions they keep muttering all they long."(Ps.38:12) These meditations were not mere passing thoughts. They were deep-rooted in the heart. Their natural inclination being toward that wicked pursuit. The writer of Proverbs says of such men "Despoiling is what their heart keeps meditating, and trouble is what their own lips keep speaking." (Prov. 24:2) Look at the World in which we live now. Look how this men, still continue with their wicked hope. We do not meditate deeply in the WORD OF GOD. Why? It is because we are bound to the rules of this World. But we are free to choose the ROAD TO SALVATION.
The physical location of the Upper Room, mentioned in the New Testament, is not known nor is it known whether the Scripture speaks of the same location in each instance.
Theories abound on where in Jerusalem this Room might have been, some point to the lower city West of the Temple where the Chief Priests lived, while still other indications point to a place both near the Temple and King David's Tomb.
From Scripture we do know that all the events from Acts 1:13 through 2:41 occurred in the proximity of that Upper Room. Later, on the Day of Pentecost the Scripture says: "And when the Day of Pentecost was fully come, they were ALL WITH ONE ACCORD IN ONE PLACE." (Acts 2:1).

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PASSOVER.
The Passover commemorates the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery. It is a very important Scriptural Holiday as a commemoration of their soul's liberation by GOD from slavery in Egypt, representing in a metaphorical way, freedom to choose whom you serve.
After an amount of time of slavery to the Pharaohs, during which the Israelites were subjected to overwhelming labor and unbearable horrors, GOD saw the people's distress and sent Moses to Pharaoh with a message: "Send forth My People, so that They may serve ME." But despite numerous warnings, Pharaoh refused to heed GOD's command. GOD then sent upon Egypt 10 devastating plagues, afflicting its power and destroying everything from their livestock to their crops.
At the stroke of Midnight of the 15 day of the Hebrew month of Nissan, GOD visited the last of the 10 plagues, killing all their firstborn. While doing so, GOD spared the Children of Israel, "PASSING OVER" their homes -hence the name of the Holiday.
Pharaoh's resistance was broken, and he virtually chased the Israelites out of the land. The Israelites left in such a hurry, in fact, that the bread they baked as provisions for the way did not have time to rise.
SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND adult males, plus many more women and children, left the slavery on that Day, and began the journey to Mount Sinai, which at the end of the 50th day of the journey, they received the Law from GOD, through Moses, and that specific Day is celebrated as the birth of Israel as a Nation of GOD, naming it Pentecost.
During the existence of the Jerusalem Temple, Passover was celebrated as a Spring Festival and was connected to the Offering of the "First-Fruits of the Barley," barley being the first grain to ripen and to be harvested in the Land of Israel.
The plagues of Egypt, also called the 10 Scriptural plagues, were 10 calamities that, according to the Scriptural Book of Exodus, GOD inflicted upon Egypt to contrast the power of the GOD of Israel with the Egyptian gods associated with the forces of nature and fertility. The gods of Egypt were judged through the 10 and final plague: "On that same Night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring JUDGMENT ON ALL the gods of Egypt, I AM the LORD." (12:12)
The reason for the plagues appears to be twofold: to answer Pharaoh's taunt, "WHO IS the LORD, that I should OBEY HIS VOICE to LET ISRAEL GO?", and to show the Israelites what GOD's POWER really means and teach them A LESSON FOR ALL TIME, which was also meant to become known throughout the world.
By remembering the Passover, we have the ability to relive and experience the Spirit of TRUE freedom that our ancestors gained. GOD hardened Pharaoh's heart so he would be strong enough to persist in HIS UNWILLINGNESS to OBEY the COMMAND OF GOD to RELEASE HIS PEOPLE, so that GOD MANIFESTED HIS GREAT POWER and CAUSE HIS POWER TO BE DECLARED AMONG THE NATIONS.
By remembering the Passover, we have the ability to relive and experience the Spirit of True Freedom that our ancestors gained. Because of it, GOD introduced HIMSELF BY NAME and MADE an exclusive COVENANT with them ON THE BASIS OF this MIRACULOUS DELIVERANCE.
The 10 COMMANDMENTS encapsulate the TERMS OF THIS COVENANT.
Joshua, the successor to Moses, reminded the People of their deliverance through the 10 plagues, and later, the psalmist sang of these events, in order to be recalled and remembered.

THE FEAST OF PENTECOST
The Feast of Pentecost commemorates 50 Days from the day the first fruits of the Barley Harvest was waved before the Lord GOD. It was on this Day that GOD visited His People after their Exodus from Egypt and through Moses, brought the Law down from Mount Sinai. This earthshaking Day of Visitation, trembling, and betrothal is the birthday of the nation of Israel.
Moses brought down the Law for the nation. Because of sin 3,000 were death under the Law that Day.
The Old Covenant is the national Covenant between GOD and His covenant people, and so the nation was established. They agreed to follow Him in DEVOTION and OBEDIENCE.
There is a Jewish tradition that King David was born and died at Pentecost. In the first sermon of the apostle Peter, recorded in Acts 2: 14-39, he linked the life, death, and Ascension of Jesus to King David's death, burial, and hope of immortality.
The biblical narrative of Pentecost is recorded in the 2nd chapter of the Book of Acts. Present were about 120 followers of Christ (Acts 1), including the 12 Apostles (the 11 faithful disciples and Matthias who was Judas' replacement), his mother Mary, various other women disciples and his brothers.
Traditional interpretation holds that the Descent of the Holy Spirit took place in the Upper Room, or Cenacle, while celebrating the day of Pentecost (Shavuot). The Upper Room was first mentioned in Luke 22: 12-13 "And he shall show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready. And they went, and found as he had said unto them, and they made ready the passover." This Upper Room was to be the location of the Last Supper and the institution of Holy Communion. The nest mention of the Upper Room is in Acts 1, the continuation of the Luke narrative by the same writer.
Here the disciples and women wait and they gave themselves up to constant prayer: "And when they were come in, they went up into the Upper Room, where abode both Peter and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continue with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren."
Then, in Acts 2: 1-2, "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they went all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."
"They" refers to the aforementioned disciples, including the women. The "place" referring to the same Upper Room where these persons had "continued with one accord in prayer and supplication."
In spite of past failures the nation of Israel will indeed be restored. The House of Judah will be saved and the throne of David in Judah will be established upon the earth under the Messiah. The lost sheep of the House of Israel will be found and brought back home to Israel again because of their sincere and righteous heart. The nation will be fully restored. Those being saved are bringing many companions with them. The nation will be reunited as spoken by the Apostle Paul.
The New Covenant is established soul by soul and silently in the gentle bonds of Love.

THE CHURCH IN CORINTH.
The letters of the apostle Paul to the Corinthians were written to the Church that resided in Corinth. The site of the city was on the Isthmus that connects the Peloponnesus to the rest of Greece. While an unavoidable passage for the land-born, North-South trade, the city's location also made East-West trade common because ships traveled from the Adriatic Sea to the Aegean Sea would cut through the Isthmus to save hundred of miles of dangerous sea travel. The method of crossing the Isthmus involved putting the ships on rollers and transporting them across the 4-mile stretch of earth that connect the 2 land masses (a canal was not constructed until the late 19th century). Corinth was both a political and commercial capital-city, and very well-trafficked with travelers; and so the population at the time of the apostle Paul was about 600,000 people and quite diverse. Some of the outcomes of this diversity were the prosperity of both: religious syncretism and immorality. Corinth had a reputation for its depravity, and the temple prostitutes of Aphrodite did not help in saving the city's bad name. There was even a Greek word reflecting the life in the city "Korinthia ' Zomai" (Corinthianize), which meant "to practice fornication."
The account of Paul's 1st visit to Corinth is recorded in Acts 18. He had found himself in Corinth after passing through Athens. When Paul came to the city he found a Jewish couple, Aquila and Priscilla, who were there because Claudius had expelled all Jews from Rome. They, like Paul, were tentmakers by trade, and so Paul stayed and worked with them. He visited the local synagogue every Sabbath. Silas and Timothy met up with Paul after their extended stay in Macedonia. They brought support from the Macedonians so that Paul could be preaching the "Word." Paul's ministry to the majority of the Jews ended up being unsuccessful (they opposed and reviled him), therefore he decided to go to the Gentiles (Non Jews). After this, many Corinthians believed including Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue. Then one night the LORD instructed Paul to continue with HIS MESSAGE and not be silent for he has many people in this city. So Paul's stay was extended.
After some time some rebel Jews attacked Paul bringing him before the tribunal, accusing him of persuading people to WORSHIP GOD in a manner that was contrary to the Law. Yet the proconsul, Gallio, found it to be a petty accusation and exonerated Paul on the basis of it being a matter of Jewish doctrine and not public affairs. Some time after that, Paul departed Corinth after a year and a half of ministry there. He went to Jerusalem, and later ended up staying in Ephesus for 3 years.
At sometime-before or while he was in Ephesus, Paul wrote a letter to the Corinthians that preceded 1 Corinthians, but it is lost. The next written letter, 1 Corinthians is a response to a letter that Paul got from the Corinthian Church, which they wrote as a response this previous letter.
Paul writes in 1 Cor. 5:9, "I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people." From Chloe's household, Paul received more reports of division (1Cor 1:11), not to mention other reports of sexual immorality (5:11) and further reports of division (11:18). With all these in mind Paul wrote 1 Corinthians in response to the reports covering the topics about division, sexual immorality, lawsuits, marriage, Christian liberty, order of worship, and the resurrection.
Paul then deployed Timothy to the Church of Corinth in order to scout the situation and be a representative of Paul's teaching (4:17; 16:10-11). Timothy's visit gave Paul an urgency to change his plans and so made a 2nd visit to Corinth. This visit is commonly called the "painful visit" as Paul himself refers to it (2Cor.2:1). Form Ephesus he sailed across the Aegean Sea to Corinth for a short and hasty trip. The outcome was not as Paul had wanted. He was provoked to writhe a 3rd letter, giving the letter to Titus to deliver it to Corinth. Paul's reasoning for it is found in 2Cor.2:3-4. He also wrote in order to test them because he wanted to find out whether or not they would be obedient in all things (2Cor2:9). So the "severe letter accomplished that which Paul had desired (2Cor7:8-9).
Being encouraged, Paul wrote a 4th letter to the Corinthian Church. Known as 2 Corinthians, Paul defends his apostolic authority, encourage the church to be unified with him, gives instructions about giving, and tells of his future plans. He mentions that Titus and others are going to make a visit (2Cor8 :16-18). Paul also makes sure to note that he, himself, is going to make his 3rd visit to Corinth (12:14; 13: 1-10).
After staying in Macedonia Paul visited Greece for 3 months, making his 3rd visit to Corinth (Acts 20: 1, 2). Then Paul went back up to Macedonia and off to further ministry elsewhere (Acts 20).
In total, Paul wrote 4 letters to the Corinthians and visited them 3 times.

CORINTH BACKGROUND.
Corinth is well-known from the 2 Letters of the apostle Paul in the New Testament, 1st and 2nd Corinthians. Corinth is also mentioned in Acts as part of Paul's missionary travels.
Ancient Corinth was a city-state (polis) on the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow stretch of land that joins the Peloponnese to mainland Greece, roughly between Athens and Sparta. It was one of the largest and most important cities in Greece, with a population of 90,000 in 400 BC. The Romans demolished the city-state in 146 BC, built a new city in its place in 44 BC, and later made it the provincial capital of Greece.
The site of Corinth was occupied from at least as early as 6,500 BC, always the settlement acted as a centre of trade, but a dramatic drop in ceramic remains occurred during 2,500-2,300BC and only sparse ceramic remains in the site appeared in the period immediately before the Mycenaean. The site remained not heavily occupied again until around 900 BC, when the Dorians settled there.
According to Hellenic myth, the city was founded by Corinthos, a descendant of the god Helios (Sun), while other myths suggest that it was founded by the goddess Ephyra, a daughter of the Titan Oceanus. There is evidence that the city was destroyed around 2,000 BC. It seems that Corinth was also the site of a Mycenaean palace-city.
Following a myth, Sisyphus, king of Ephyra, and son of King Aeolus of Thessaly and Enarete, was the founder of a race of ancient kings at Corinth. He was the father of Glaucus, Ornytion, Almus, and Thersander by the nymph Merope, the brother of Salmoneous (who hate each other), and the grandpa of Bellerophon (slayer of monsters) through Glaucus. The king Sisyphus promoted navigation and commerce but was avaricious and deceitful. He killed travelers and guests. The evil action was considered a violation of the code of hospitality (Xenia). He took pleasure in these killings because they allowed him to maintain his iron-fisted rule.
Zeus then ordered Thanatos, Death, to chain Sisyphus down below in Tartarus. Sisyphus was curious as to why Hermes, whose job was to guide souls to the Underworld, had not appeared on this occasion.
He asked Thanatos to demonstrate how chains worked. As Thanatos was granting him his wish, Sisyphus seized the opportunity and trapped Thanatos in the chains instead. Once Thanatos was bound by the strong chains, no one died on earth. This caused an uproar especially for Ares, who was annoyed that his battles had lost their fun because his opponents would not die, and so he intervened.
Ares freed Thanatus and turned Sisyphus over to him. His soul was punished for his self-aggrandizing craftiness and deceitfulness by being forced to roll an immense boulder up a hill, only to watch it come back to hit him, repeating this action for eternity.
Corinth, under the tightly-knit Doric clan and the ruling kinship group was a backwater in the 8th and 7th BC, a period of expanding Corinthian power until it became a unified state. In 733BC, Corinth established colonies at Corcyra in the Ionian Sea, 2nd largest of the Ionian Islands, and Syracuse in Sicily. By 730BC Corinth emerged as a highly advanced Greek city with at least 5,000 people.
Aritotle tells the story of Philolaus of Corinth, a Dorian who was a lawgiver at Thebes. He became the lover of Diocles, an athlete that became the winner of the Olympic games. They lived together for the rest of their lives and were buried in builded tombs near one another. Philolaus' tomb points toward the Corinthian country while Diocles' faces away. In 657BC, Cypselus representing the tyrants, who usually seized the power at the head of some popular support. After the traditional king was assassinated, he was a Dorian, but not from the royal lineage. He was the son of Eetion and a disfigured woman named Labda, who was a member of the Dorian family.
Aristotle reports that Cypselus had made a vow that if he became master of the city, he would offer Zeus the entire property of the Corinthians. Accordingly, he commanded them to make a return of their possessions.
In classical times, Corinth rivaled Athens and Thebes in wealth, based on the Isthmian traffic and trade. Until the mid-6th century, Corinth was a major exporter of black-figure pottery to city-states around the Greek world. Corinth had a temple of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, employing some thousands temple prostitutes. The city was renowned for these prostitutes who served the wealthy merchants and the powerful officials who frequented the city. Referring to its exorbitant luxuries, Horace is quoted as saying: "Not everyone is able to go to Corinth."
The city had 2 main ports: to the West on the Corinthian Gulf, Lechaion which connected the city to its Western colonies and Magna Graecia, while to the East on the Saronic Gulf, Kenchreai which served the ships coming from Athens, Ionia, Cyprus and the Levant. Both ports had docks for the city's large navy
By 332BC, Alexander the Great was in control of Greece. Under his successors, Greece was a contested ground, and Corinth was occasionally taken as a battleground. In 308BC, the city was captured from the Antigonids by Ptolemy I, who claimed to come as a liberator of Greece. In 253/2 Alexander of Corinth resolved to challenge the Macedonian supremacy and seek independence as a tyrant. He was poisoned in 247BC and after his death a Macedonian king retook the city. After the Roman intervention in 197BC the city was permanently brought into the Achaean League. The Achaeans took control of the entire Peloponnesus and made Corinth its capital. In 146BC, Rome declared war and captured Corinth, killing all the men and sold the women and children into slavery before burning the city. Under Romans, Corinth was rebuilt as a major city and had a large and mixed population of Romans, Greeks, and Jews.
The city was largely destroyed in the earthquakes of 365CE and 375CE followed by Alaric's invasion in 396CE. Alaric (Visigoth) is best known for his sack of Rome. The city was rebuilt on a monumental scale, but covered a much smaller area than previously.
During the reign of Justinian I (527-565), a large stone wall was erected from the Saronic to the Corinthian gulfs, protecting the city and the Peloponnese peninsula from the barbarian invasions from the North. Corinth declined from the 6th century on. In November 856CE, another earthquake devastated the city killing an estimated 45,000 people. In 1147, the city was sacked by Sicilian Normans under Roger of Sicily carrying off many captives, most notably silk weavers. The city never fully recovered from the Norman sack.
During the Greek War of Independence, 1821-1830 the city was destroyed by the Ottoman forces. The city was officially liberated in 1832 after the treaty of London. In 1858, the village surrounding the ruins of Ancient Corinth was destroyed by another earthquake, leading to the establishment of New Corinth 3km (1.9 mi) NE of the ancient city.

WHAT IS DESIRE?
The word "desire" covers a wide range of human wants, emotions and cravings. It can describe natural desires, which include hunger food for food, sexual longings, and desire for GOD. It can also covers unnatural cravings, which include greed and lust.
Desire is ultimately the longing to return to the Source of Creation. The dissatisfaction with what is and a longing and desire to close that separation is what fuels the act of Creation.
Desire is the raw material of Creation. The longing, the desire to close the gap within the longing, is the creative tension that will supply the energy for the new creation. It is for this reason that we cannot outright dismiss our desires. Desire at any and all levels of our being is important. Nor can we see our desires as something that needs to be given up. Rather we need to understand the desire and the source of it.
The flow of energy that sustains us arises from the intention that back up our life and caused us to come into physical existence. This flow of energy or substance lies at the source of our being and sustain us much the way the heart lied deep within our being and sustains the physical body through the flow of blood.
Metaphorically the heart is used to represent 4 interconnected things. First, it is the resting place for the creative spirit. Second, it is the source of the flow of our creative life energy. Third, it is the location for the intention and the flow of the energy aligns us with that intention. Fourth, represents the dream we wish to manifest. It aligns with the flow of energy and carries us to what we desire to create and the experiences we desire to have that fulfill the intention of our being and the reason why we are here.
The dream within our heart and the intention for our life are different forms of the same things. They are like flip sides of a coin. They just look different but they only take different focus. In one case the focus is on the intention we have for coming into life. The other is what we wish to create with the life we have. One look to the past, the other look to the future. Yet each is the same flow of energy.
The creative spirit and the flow of the creative life energy is what nurtures and sustain us. We can feel what serves or do not serve our being. But to do so, we must open to feeling and face the reasons why we shut down our ability to feel.
The heart has been traditionally seen as the seat of the emotion, especially of love and affection, and having the capacity for kindness and sympathy. In reality, the emotions and what we love are actually determined by what we think and believe about our own feelings. Similarly, it is the mind which determines the choice we make for, or against, tenderness, kindness, and sympathy.
Unless we explore the origins of our negative experiences at the deepest inner level we will not understand why we are creating them. There are desires that we have as a result of the societal programming reflected in our mind. We do things in life not because we freely choose to do them, rather we are simply following a program given to us at a very early stage of our development.
The Scripture explains in a very clear way the very nature of our desires. What we need to learn from it is how to maintain the positive nature of it.

WHAT IS FEMININITY?
Femininity is constructed on a male model, making woman a special case of man, a product of his desire. A woman made from the body of a man linking both of them with the same nature, the desire of belonging one another and become one. This signified her as sharing equally in the image of GOD and from that SOURCE comes all human dignity which differentiates humans from the rest of the animal kingdom. In this sense, her identity was directly derived from GOD.
As "Woman", this femininity is the one created out of Man and formed for the purpose of being "a helper suitable for Him. In this sense, her identity was directly derived from Man, but not itself convey subordination. The personification of "Help" is used even of GOD elsewhere in the Scripture.
God's intention in her creation was that she complement Man in the role and purpose that GOD had for them.
GENESIS 1:26-31 Then GOD said, "And now we will made Human Beings; they will BE LIKE US and RESEMBLE US." They will HAVE POWER OVER the FISH, the BIRDS, and all ANIMALS, domestic and wild, large and small. So GOD CREATED HUMANS BEINGS, making them TO BE LIKE HIMSELF. He created them MALE and FEMALE, blessed them, and said, "Have many children, so that YOUR DESCENDANTS WILL LIVE ALL OVER THE EARTH and BRING IT UNDER their CONTROL. I AM PUTTING YOU IN CHARGE of the fish, the birds, and all the wild animals. I have PROVIDED all kinds of GRAIN and all kinds of FRUIT for YOU to EAT, but for all the WILD ANIMALS and for all BIRDS I have PROVIDED GRASS and LEAFY PLANTS for FOOD."
The dual derivative character of "Woman's identity" -image of GOD and taking out of Man- provides the basis of self-understanding for all women. Rather than be a servant to Man, she was to share in a mutuality with him. She was in the image of GOD and a co-recipient of the mandate to fill the Earth and subdue it.
The absence of the woman separated from the body of man when he was placed in the Garden that GOD planted in Eden, in the East, to cultivate and guard it, brought forth a declaration from GOD of "not good." When she was presented to man, he sang forth the first hymn found in Scripture , extolling her and naming her "Woman." He saw in her an identical-yet-opposite mirror : he realized that she was a full bearer of the Divine Image and that he lacked what only she could provide. In this respect, man's identity was derived from his woman.
There was a strongly implied hierarchy in the relationship between man and woman, and Satan chose to tempt the woman in order to subvert this structure. In succumbing to Satan's deception, the woman took upon herself the determinative role in good and evil. Human autonomy began here in the complementary realms of Truth and Morals. In an effort to vindicate herself, she gained man's participation in the rebellion. The portrayal of the woman here as susceptible to temptation establishes one dimension of her character in Scripture , but this dimension must be seen in the context of her full characterization.
Man was placed as the first human to walk in the dimension of the Earth. His name Adam, in Hebrew, is a derivative of the word for earth "Adama." Adam may be seen as primarily at fault in the act of disobedience. Not only he was placed as a general representative Head over Creation, but it was his specific task to "keep and guard" the Garden. Adam was to guard the holy Garden of God from the presence of evil and/or unclean intrusions. The presence of the satanic serpent in the Garden was a direct indication of Adam's failure in this regard.
Eve shared fully in the shame of this rebellion, sensing with Adam the fracture of what was once their sufficient covering -the Glory/ Spirit/ Image of GOD. Eve's burden from the Fall also included the distortion of her natural desires becoming disproportionate or distorted. Also the same could be said for the man's ruling over her. The marital hierarchy was somehow warped.
The preservation of Eve as the source of life in not limited, however, merely to the flesh. The curse upon the Serpent included the promise that a seed of the woman would bruise the serpent's head while the seed of the serpent would bruise his heel.
The New Testament makes two explicit references to Eve. In 2 Cor. 11:3 Paul cited the Serpent's deception of Eve as a warning of what a false teacher might do to the Christian Church. The point of the analogy is the craftiness of the Serpent compared with the false wisdom of someone who preach a different Gospel than the one Paul declares to them. If the temptation of the Church is to follow a false Gospel then it is analogous to a marital infidelity, so Eve's temptation might be seen that way. This connects to a broad and frequent Old Testament analogy which depicts idolatry as an act of marital infidelity toward GOD.
So a husband's responsibility toward his wife is to set her apart as the exclusive object of his love.
As "Woman", this femininity is the one created out of Man and formed for the purpose of being "a helper suitable for Him. In this sense, her identity was directly derived from Man, but not itself convey subordination. The personification of "Help" is used even of GOD elsewhere in the Scripture.

THE EXAMPLE OF ENOCH.
"Once there was a man named Enoch who pleased GOD, and GOD loved him. While Enoch was still living among sinners, GOD took him away, so that EVIL and FALSEHOOD could NOT CORRUPT HIS MIND and SOUL. " (Wisdom 4)
We all know that people can be so fascinated by evil that they cannot recognize what is good even when they are looking at it. Innocent people can be so corrupted with desire that they can think of nothing but what they want.
"This man Enoch achieved in a few years' time a perfection that other people could never attain in a complete lifetime." (Wisdom 4)
Enoch was the son of Jared, the father of Methuselah, and great-grandfather of Noah. At 65 years old, he begot Methuselah. In the 7th generation from Adam, he was considered the author of the Book of Enoch and also called Enoch the scribe of judgment. The Scripture says that Enoch lived 365 years before he was taken by GOD. (Genesis 5).
The Christian New Testament has 3 references to Enoch from the lineage of Seth :
LUKE 3 mentionS Enoch in reference to the Ancestors of Jesus.
HEBREW 11 mention Enoch because of his faith saying, "It was Faith that kept Enoch from dying. Instead, he was taken up by GOD, and nobody could find him, because GOD had taken him up."
The Scripture says that before Enoch was taken up, he had pleased GOD. No one can please GOD without Faith, for whoever comes to GOD must have Faith that GOD exists and rewards those who seek HIM.
JUDE mentions Enoch in relation to Judgment of the Wicked by saying, "It was Enoch, the 7th direct descendant from Adam, who long ago prophesied this about them (for some godless people have slipped in unnoticed among GOD's people, persons who distort the message about the Grace of our GOD in order to excuse their immoral ways): 'The LORD will come with many thousands of His Holy Angels to BRING JUDGMENT ON ALL, to CONDEMN THEM ALL for the godless deeds they have performed and for ALL the TERRIBLE WORDS that GODLESS SINNERS have SPOKE AGAINST HIM! ' These people are always grumbling and blaming others; they FOLLOW their OWN EVIL DESIRES; they BRAG ABOUT THEMSELVES and FLATTER OTHERS IN ORDER TO GET THEIR OWN WAY."
"The LORD was pleased with the life of Enoch and quickly took him out of this wicked World. People were aware of his departure but did not understand. They never seemed to learn the lesson that GOD is kind and merciful to His Own People; HE protects those whom HE HAS CHOSEN." (Wisdom 4).

HOPE OF THE WICKED.
On that Day someone Righteous, full of confidence, will stand before those who oppressed him and made light of his labors. They will be amazed to see him safe and will tremble will terrible fear. Then they will regret what they did, and groaning in anguish they will say to each other :
"This is the one we made fun of. We thought he was a joke. What fools we were! We thought he was crazy to live the way he did, and when he died , we did not honor him. And now here he is, one of God's own children, with a place of his own among GOD's people."
"We were the ones who wandered off the right road. We NEVER LIVED IN the LIGHT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; we never caught the first glimmer of its light. All our lives we wandered across unmarked deserts, instead of following the road which the LORD wanted us to travel. And this LAWLESSNESS LED US TO RUIN. We were so PROUD OF OURSELVES -we bragged about how rich we were- and now what good has it done us? All those things are gone now; they have disappeared like a shadow, like something you hear and then forget."
"A ship sails across the waves of the ocean, but when it is gone, it leaves no trace. You can not tell it was ever there. A bird flies through the air, but leaves no sign that it has been there. It speeds along, riding through the thin air by the force of its wings, leaving behind no trace of its passing. An arrow splits the air when it is shot at a target, but at once the air closes up behind it, and no one can tell where it passed. It is the same with us -we were born, and then we ceased to be. We left no sign of virtue behind us; we were DESTROYED BY OUR WICKEDNESS."
"WHAT HOPE do WICKED PEOPLE HAVE?"
Only the hope of straw blown about in the wind, the hope of ocean foam that disappears in the storm, the hope of smoke in the breeze. Their hope lasts no longer than our memory of a guest who stays one day and leaves the next."
"But the RIGHTEOUS LIVE ON FOREVER. The LORD will REWARD THEM; the MOST HIGH will PROTECT THEM. He will GIVE THEM ROYAL SPLENDOR and MAGNIFICENT CROWN. He will SHIELD THEM with HIS POWERFUL ARM. He will GO OUT into BATTLE determined TO DEFEAT HIS ENEMIES, and USE the CREATION ITSELF AS A WEAPON."
RIGHTEOUSNESS will be HIS ARMOR, genuine JUSTICE will be HIS HELMET, HOLINESS will be HIS INVINCIBLE SHIELD."
"HE will SHARPEN HIS stern ANGER into A SWORD, and the FORCES OF NATURE WILL JOIN HIM IN BATTLE AGAINST THOSE WHO are FOOLISH ENOUGH to OPPOSE HIM."
"Bolts of lightning will strike right on target, as if the LORD had made a bow out of the clouds and was shooting arrows. Hailstones will beat down on HIS ENEMIES with terrible force. The oceans and rivers will come rushing over them in a devastating flood. Great windstorms will blow them away like straw." (Wisdom 5)
"LAWLESSNESS WILL BE THE RUIN OF THE WHOLE WORLD."
"EVIL ACTIONS WILL CAUSE GOVERNMENTS TO FALL."
"This is the one we made fun of. We thought he was a joke. What fools we were! We thought he was crazy to live the way he did, and when he died , we did not honor him. And now here he is, one of God's own children, with a place of his own among GOD's people."

THE WISDOM OF THE RIGHTEOUS
Proverbs 5 "My son, be attentive to MY WISDOM, incline your ear to MY UNDERSTANDING; that you may keep discretion, and your lips may guard knowledge FOR THE LEEPS OF A LOOSE woman DRIP HONEY, and HER SPEECH is SMOOTHER that OIL; but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as two-edged sword. HER FEET go down TO SHEOL; she does NOT take heed TO the path of LIFE; her ways wonder, and she does not know it."
"And now, O sons, listen to ME, and DO NOT DEPART FROM MY WORDS of MY MOUTH, keep your way far from her, and do not go near the door of her house; lest you give your honor to others and your ears to the merciless; LEST the strangers take their fill of your strength, and your labors go to the house of an alien; and AT the END of your LIFE you GROAN, when your FLESH AND BODY are CONSUMED, and you say, 'How I hated discipline, and my heart despised reproof! I did not listen to the voice of my teachers or incline my ear to my instructors. I was at the point of utter ruin in the assembled congregation,'"
The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is caught in the toils of his sin. He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is lost.
"Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well."
"Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets?"
"Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you. Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely hind, a graceful doe. Let her affection fill you at all times with delight, be infatuated always with her love. Why should you be infatuated, my son, with a loose woman and embrace the bosom of an adventuress?"
"For a MAN'S WAYS ARE BEFORE THE EYES OF THE LORD, and HE WATCHES ALL HIS PATHS."
Ecclesiastes 7: Do Not Take Everything For Granted.
A goo reputation is better than a fat bank account. Your death date tells more than your birth date. You learn more at a funeral than at a feast - after all, that is where we will end up. We might discover something from it. Crying is better than laughing. It blotches the face but it scours the heart. Endings are better than beginnings. Sticking to it is better than standing out.
Sages invest themselves in hurt and grieving. Fools waste their lives in fun and games. You will get more from the rebuke of a sage than from the song and dance of fools. The giggles of fools are like the cracking of twigs under the cooking pot, and like smoke.
Brutality stupefies even the wise and destroys the strongest heart. Do not be quick to fly off the handle. Anger boomerangs. You can spot a fool by the lumps on his head.
Do not always be asking, "Where are the good old days!" Wise folks do not questions like that.
Wisdom is better when it is paired with blessings, especially if you get both while you are still living. It double protection, wisdom and wealth! Plus this bonus: Wisdom energizes its owner.
Take a good look at GOD'S WORK. Who could simplify and reduce Creation's curves and angles to a plain straight line?
Job 31: What Can I Expect From God?
"I made a solemn pact with myself never to undress a girl with my eyes. If I have let myself be seduced by a woman and conspired to go to bed with her, fine, my wife has every right to go ahead and sleep with anyone she wants to. For disgusting behavior like that, I would deserve the worst punishment YOU could hand out. Adultery is a fire that burns the house down; I would not expect anything I count dear to survive it."
"Have I ever been unfair to my employees when they brought a complaint to me? What then will I do when GOD confronts me? When GOD examines my books, what can I say? Do not the same GOD who made me, make them? Are not we all made of the same stuff, equals before GOD?"
"Have I ignored the needs of the poor, turned my back on the indigent, taking care of my own needs and fed my own face while they languished? Was not my home always open to them? Were not they always welcome at my table?"
"Have I ever left a poor family shivering in the cold when they had no warm clothes? Did not the poor bless me when they saw mw coming, knowing I had brought coats from my closet?"
"If I have ever used my strength and influence to take advantage of the unfortunate, go ahead, break both my arms, cut off all my fingers!"
"THE FEAR OF GOD HAS KEPT ME FROM THESE THINGS -how else could I ever face HIM?

LAW AND ITS PURPOSE.
One of the most important themes in the Scripture is the Law's relationship to the Divine Administration of Justice in the World.
The Books of Psalms and Proverbs present what was likely the traditional understanding of this issue in ancient Judah. The Books of Job and Ecclesiastes raise critical questions regarding this understanding. All four books share, however, the assumptions that GOD is the FINAL JUDGE of human behavior, put humans on trial, and gives blessings to those found righteous, and punishment to those found guilty of sin. Their view places the relationship with GOD through the eyes of the Law. Thus, much of the language used in the prayers, instructions and discourses of these writings also has legal meaning.
A strongly Deuteronomic point of view underlies the psalmists' emphasis on adherence to the Law. This connection manifests itself both in the psalms' legal vocabulary and in their view of Divine Retributive Justice. For Deuteronomy, it is 'obedience' to GOD's commandments that will bring health, prosperity and success. HE requites disobedience with sickness, poverty and defeat. For the psalmists, GOD is the supreme and righteous JUDGE of the cosmos. As such HE makes COVENANTS, investigates covenantal breaches, and enforces the covenants with lawsuit. GOD evaluates the degree to which an individual or a society adheres to covenantal law and blesses or punishes accordingly.
The Wisdom literature in Proverbs reiterates in many respects the view of justice. It is righteousness that GOD will reward with economic prosperity, good fortune, and long life; those who displease GOD, conversely, are punished. The texts includes behavior that accords with the Law: accurate weights and measures, justice in the judicial system, and general obedience to the commandments.
A righteous life includes, however, more than strict adherence to the law. Mere obedience no longer equals the blessing of GOD. The equation requires the addition of Wisdom, that is the range of virtues considered to accompany a life governed by Wisdom: diligence, generosity, judicious speech, humility, and sexual fidelity, among others.
With the book of Job a different perspective on law and justice appear. The book is replete with legal content and tends to follow the format and procedures of a trial. The purpose is to explore a common conception in his day that those who undergo suffering are the subject of a divine trial and of retributive punishment if found guilty. The characters agree on how Justice should operate: the wicked should experience suffering as punishment for their wickedness, while the righteous should be blessed. They disagree, however, regarding whether or not Justice actually does work this way and, if it does not, whether GOD should be held responsible. The trial is complex but seems to begin when Satan brings a formal legal accusation against Job in the Divine Council that Job possesses a blasphemous mind. God must permit the trial to proceed in order not to corrupt or circumvent the existing Divine legal system.
Job endures a torturous legal investigation. Then Satan's hope is to hear Job blaspheme GOD to HIS FACE, an act that would serve as the best evidence on the charge before the Council. Job assumes, though, that GOD is the accusing party and decided to countersue GOD. He claims that GOD is guilty of abuse of authority, primarily for bringing a suit that lacks sufficient justification. Job seeks to find someone to join his claim as a 2nd accuser against GOD, but no one is willing. Instead the 3 friends seek to impeach Job, impugn his integrity, and defend GOD. The friends insist that Job plead guilty and seek GOD's mercy. What happened at the end of the book can be characterized as an out-of-court-settlement. GOD, having defended himself vigorously, seems forced to admit that allowing the suit to go forward was unfair. There is no decisive legal victory for either party. GOD justly controls the suffering of humankind.
In the book of Ecclesiastes, understanding the treatment of Law, it requires a decision regarding the book's literary integrity and purpose because it seems to contain conflicting ideologies and approaches to the law. The text's overriding concern is to keep in proper perspective aspects of life that lie outside the scope of Law.

THE AFTERLIFE ACCORDING TO EGYPT.
The Ancient Egyptians believed firmly in an afterlife, and death was a brief interruption to an existence that continued beyond the grave for eternity, in a world much like the one which they inhabited in life.
The Egyptians thought that the human body was home to 3 main spirits that were released when a person died. This were the 'Ka', a person's life force, which were represented by a pair of up-stretched arms; the 'Ba', a wandering soul, which was commonly depicted as a human-headed spirit-bird; and the 'Akh', a kind of ghost that was represented by the crested ibis. The ghost was deemed to return to the stars at death, and the wandering soul a the person's life force depended on the body for survival. The preservation of the body was essential if life was to continue after death.
In Pre-dynastic times, most people were buried in shallow graves directly in the sand, and often accompanied by funerary goods. The sand dried the body, leaving many corpses well preserved.
The first story concerned with death and rebirth is that of Osiris. The ancient Egyptians believed that their gods had originally ruled on Earth before them, and that Osiris, one of the first kings of Egypt, had been killed by his treacherous brother Set, and his body cut into pieces and scattered. However, his wife and sister, Isis, recovered the pieces and was shown by Anubis how to bind him together with linen bandages. He came to life briefly and fathered a son, Horus, who then inherited his throne.
Osiris, meanwhile, was made king of the Land of the Dead (Duat) or the Underworld, and became the god of death and resurrection.
During the Old Kingdom, from the 4th Dynasty onwards, each king, or pharaoh, came to be regarded as the living embodiment of the god Horus, who would become one with Osiris at death, to return to spend eternal life with the gods.
The cult of Osiris promoted the belief that all the people of Egypt would share in eternal life in the "Field of Reeds," an idealized kingdom of eternal spring, but in practice the idea was first extended to the nobility, as is seen in the "Coffin Texts" on the Middle Kingdom, which were placed within the coffins of important or wealthy people, and later, in the New Kingdom, as extracts from the "Book of the Dead" came to be placed in even the poorest people's graves. These practices developed alongside a belief in a personal final judgment that provided everyone with an opportunity of entry into the afterlife.
Prior to the spread of the belief in a final judgment, acceptance into the afterlife was believed to be guaranteed if a person had conducted their life according to the principles of Maat, the Egyptian notion of order and morality, but following a breakdown in order during the First Intermediate Period, the idea was promoted that individuals would actually be judged before the gods by Osiris for their earthly actions.
First, a person had to undertake a perilous journey through the Underworld, accompanied by their wandering soul (Ba), in order to reach the Hall of Judgment, where, in front of Osiris and 42 assistants, they would deny having committed any of the long list of sins, before proceeding to the next stage, the Weighing of the Heart. The jackal-headed Anubis would place their heart on a pair of scales, where it had to balance exactly with the feather of Truth, belonging to the goddess Maat. If the heart was heavy with sin, then it would be eaten by Ammut, the 'Devourer of Souls,' a terrifying beast with the head of a crocodile, the forequarters of a lion, and the hindquarters of a hippopotamus.
As the heart was believed to contain the "true self"of the individual, then if the heart was heavy of sin, the person cease to exist, and be denied passage to eternal life. However, if the scales balanced, the individual would be permitted to join Osiris in the afterlife, and his spirit was free to move between the lands of the living and the death.

AN EGYPTIAN LETTER WROTE TO A DEAD PERSON.
One of the Egyptian Letters to the Dead, dated from 2,100 BC, was written on a pottery dish. The dead man was named Nefersekhi and the letter was from his widow asking for his intervention in a property dispute.
The widow deep and sincere desire was that she wanted to ensure that their daughter get a fair share of the inheritance and therefore she called for the dead man's intervention.
The Egyptians believed that the world of the dead had a sort of influence over the world of the living, therefore all sorts of help could be gained from the souls of the dead in journey to their final destination.
For these ancient people there was a link with the dead, as the dead were supposedly in the netherworld and it was not difficult for them to assess the petition and and use the powers in the unseen world granted to them to assist the living.
An often request was for a cure for infertility. A woman's status often depended on her ability to have children. Cures were also requested.
The religious goal for these ancient people was to ensure the continuity of the soul well-being and the development of a positive disposition towards the living, and the social goal was to cultivate kinship values like family loyalty, and the continuity of the family lineage.
The story in 1 Samuel 28 is one of the most strange stories of the Old Testament, and a very sad story of Israel's first anointed king falling into sin and the grip of darkness. He afterwards killed himself. It is a display of the strange reality of the forces of darkness and evil.
If you read the story, the prophet Samuel responded to the call of a medium. She was, however, shocked and cried out in fear when she saw Samuel and immediately recognized Saul, the king.
Samuel was upset that Saul disturbed him by "bringing him up," but nonetheless he spoke God's judgment on Saul saying:"tomorrow you and your sons will be with me."
We understand with this narrative that there is a strange world of evil and spirit forces. God is in control of all of this and it serves His Purpose. The two forces displayed in it means no threat to God.
The Biblical Truth is that everything, even the evil forces, exist only because God allows it to exist.
The narrative is placed in the Scripture as a warning to us. The apostle Paul wrote: "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Eph. 6:12).
In 1 Chronicles 13-14 "Saul died in disobedience, disobedience to God. He did not obey God's Words. Instead of praying he went to a witch to seek guidance. Because he did not go to God for help, God took his life and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse."
Jesus said: "God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24).
