THE HEBREW ALPHA BET

The HEBREW ALPHA BET is made up of TWENTY-TWO LETTERS and FIVE FINAL LETTERS. The SQUARE SCRIPT now in use DIFFERS from the OLD ONE.
It is said that that EZRA adopted this script after returning from Babylonian exile, leaving the OLD ROUNDED SCRIPT for use by the  SAMARITANS.
EZRA, priest and scribe who led the RETURN of the EXILES from BABYLONIA to REBUILD the TEMPLE, in which work HE WAS AIDED BY NEHEMI AH. He was regarded as a second Moses.
He made the JEWS LEFT THEIR GENTILE WIVES and TOOK with him ALL the FAMILIES with
GENEALOGICAL PROBLEMS, since he knew Babylonian Jewry would lack leadership.
The LETTERS of the ALPHABET are seen as CONVEYING MESSAGES BASED ON the alliteration of their NAMES.   Each HEBREW LETTER also has a NUMERICAL VALUE. Thus WORDS, PHRASES, or SENTENCES with the SAME VALUE are RELATED TOGETHER in an ASSOCIATION of IDEAS. It is possible because HEBREW HAS NO SEPARATE NUMBER SYSTEM.
Each LETTER of the ALPHABET STANDS FOR A UNIQUE NUMBER, and larger numbers are made up of combinations of letters.
For instance, ABRAHAM is said to have taken with him 318 servants to a BATTLE in which  the SPIRITUAL FORCES OF THE UNIVERSE (good vs. evil) were AT WAR.  Since this NUMBER is the NUMERICAL EQUIVALENT of the NAME OF HIS SERVANT "ELIEZER," it represent in itself the formation of the names of two other servants "ELI" and "EZRA." Eli, High Priest of the Shiloh sanctuary who adopted the young prophet SAMUEL (another name formation) after his mother HANNA, dedicated the life of the boy to the GOD's SERVICE.  Eli's own sons were corrupt priests. They died when the Ark of the Covenant, which they had carried into battle, was captured by the PHILISTINES. All of ELI's descendants were cursed with a short life span, but they could overcome this curse by changing their hearts to the truly service of the true GOD.  EZRA, which means "help" was an Aaronic priest, a DESCENDANT OF ELEAZAR and PHINEHAS, a scholar and expert copyst and teacher of the Law, skilled in both HEBREW and ARAMAIC. Ezra had a GENUINE ZEAL FOR PURE WORSHIP AND PREPARED HIS HEART TO CONSULT THE LAW OF GOD AND TO DO IT AND TO TEACH IN ISRAEL (spiritual Israel) REGULATION and JUSTICE.
The sanctity of prayers relates to the SPIRITUAL FORCES in the LETTERS which the words liberates. Any small changes in the prayers upset the balance of these forces, as do any mistakes in the revelation of the WORD OF GOD.
